The Idea

The aim of Community Unity is to make the project team’s local park more community friendly, improve accessibility for all, and to promote the park’s facilities.

The Action

The team conducted research to find out what locals wanted from their park, and created a plan to make improvements. They raised funds by hosting a table quiz and cake sale which will be used to improve the park further.

The Impact

The work of Community Unity has improved the local town park for all of the community. The project team hopes that this will be maintained and are committed to staying involved in the improvement process.
