Our Goal
Our issue is our school environment and a main discovery was that there wasn’t much awareness of what can and can’t be recycled safely, and even for those with this awareness, it was very difficult to separate their waste as we didn’t have sufficient recycling resources. We also noticed that the school yard/field was a major litter blackspot, with a lot of litter thrown onto it throughout the day. We discovered that there was no brown bin in the staff room. We got a brown bin, and now teachers can compost, coffee grinds, tea bags, fruit skins, and other compostables. To
