We would want to reduce the use of Class A and Class B drugs since the death rate from overdosing has drastically increased since 1999. Our goal is to show people the dangers and side effects from the use of drugs.

Our Social Issue

We have decided to address the use of Class A and Class B drugs in Ireland, and in particular in our local area.

Why We Chose It

The issue is important to us because we have lost childhood friends because drugs have stolen them from us and we want to make sure this won't happen to our kids. We are going to spread awareness of the dangers of using.

Our goal is to show people the dangers and side effects from the use of drugs. We want to make sure this won't happen to our kids. We are going to spread awareness of the dangers of using.

Our Innovative Action

We have made less progress than we would like due to illness and some of our members doing extra work experience, but this is our action plan: 1. Use our own knowledge and research to create a presentation for our peers about the Class A and B drugs that are causing most significant damage in Dublin. ? Use and effects ? Impact on individuals ? Impact on families and communities 2. Research and contact organisations that are already doing good work in this area. 3. Do a school survey
