Social isolation amongst the elderly and others
Why We Chose It
We chose this social issue as we felt that it definitely goes under the radar amongst other topics. Its not a problem that many people are aware of as it doesn't affect the majority of people except the elderly.
Our Goal
Are big ideas are to spread awareness of social isolation among elderly people around Ireland . we hope to share this through our 2 minute acting scene.
Our Innovative Action
Our actions were working together to come up with a humorous/ funny roleplay to address this problem. We created posters that will go around the school. We sent out surveys as well to others.
Our Impact
We succeeded and made a positive difference in spreading the awareness around which was firstly not known. Students in our school are now aware about elderly or their own grandparents problems that they face especially when they're alone.
