Our vision is to see Ireland working together to help our government fulfill climate action promises. We want to encourage our nation to move away from an extraction based, growth model of economics to create a genuine circular economy. We want to encourage people to think about the lifecycle of the products they use. We want to lobby our local leaders to take a firmer stance on irresponsible consumption and emissions and see what we can do to help.
Our Social Issue
Ireland's failure to achieve climate action goals: our lack of climate action and our irresponsible consumption.

Why We Chose It
We chose this issue as it was we feel it is the biggest issue facing humanity at the moment. It will effect everyone on the planet, it is coming sooner than people think and we feel that there is not enough being done about it. Our government has failed to hit numerous environmental targets and we wanted to see how we could help our country work together as a country to achieve the climate targets.

Our Goal
Our big idea was to help Ireland’s government with tackling Climate and Irresponsible Consumption. Our goals are to teach our school and community how to be more responsible with their consumption of goods which impacts the climate. Also with our Comic Books we wish to educate our community about the importance of reducing, reusing and recycling. The clothes swap also helped with the responsible consumption of clothes.

Our Innovative Action
We made educational comic books, We ran a bake sale, We ran a clothes swap We made posters We made a film We ran a sustainable costume competition We wrote a rap We ran a second hand jewelry drive

Our Impact
We brought people's attention to the harm that irresponsible consumption does. We changed students minds about buying second had clothes and goods.
