To show young people that you can still have fun without technology
Our Social Issue
The students feel that kids mich younger than them are involved in activities that would usually be for a much older cohort(Kids growing up too fast)
Why We Chose It
We chose it to promote simplistic ideas that kids can get involved in bringing it back to basic interaction , card and present giving saying thank you for something that was homemade and given with love .The importance of human interaction especially among the youth of today.
Our Goal
We hope to promote the idea of the importace of social experience for kids now adays and not just to be attached to their phones or only doign activities that involve technology. We hope to raise awareness around this and hope that people realise that the simple act of friendship of sending a card and a token can mean so much to an other person.
Our Innovative Action
We conducted a valentines gift bag exchange with the first and second year students of our school. It was a great success. We collected orders from the students and worked together to assemble the bags. We used a variety of sweets and candies to make it appealing. We then distributed the orders to the students. We had great feedback from the targeted year groups, which really enjoyed it.
Our Impact
The valentine’s exchange helped the first and second years realised and appreciate the importance of giving. It helped them strengthen their relationships with each other. The valentines exchange created lasting memories they can look fondly on. It also was a way to spread positivity and foster a sense of community within their respective year groups. It was also a good way to promote school spirit and the values the school upholds
