YSI is delighted to announce its first TY work experience programme taking place this Autumn 2024. Between 2-6 TY students will take part in one week of work experience, where they will learn about various aspects of working at a non-profit organisation. They will spend time with the Education, Communications and Operations Teams. 

The experience will be hybrid with 3 days taking place at the YSI office in DCU Alpha and 2 days at home. 

The confirmed week will be November 18-22 2024. Unfortunatley, work experience will not be available at any other point during the 2024-2025 Academic Year. 

Where possible, YSI will prioritise a balance between pupils attending DEIS and non-DEIS schools. Following this, if YSI receives more applications than places available, places will be allocated via lottery.
