YSI was delighted to hold its first structured TY Work Experience Programme in Autumn 2024. 7 TY students took part in a week of work experience learning about various aspects of working at a non-profit organisation. They spent time with the Education and Communications Teams. 

The experience was hybrid with 3 days taking place at the YSI office in DCU Alpha and 2 days at home. 

The 2024 Programme took place from the 18th to the 22nd of November. Unfortunatley, work experience will not be available at any other point during the 2024-2025 Academic Year. 

The 2025-2026 Programme dates will be announced in summer 2025. Where possible, YSI prioritises a balance between pupils attending DEIS and non-DEIS schools and pupils attending schools who have/ have not participated in YSI previously.
