200 YSI Students Attend Event Hosted by The Entrepreneurs Academy

YSI students from across county Kerry gathered online on October 5th for an ‘Ideation and Planning Webinar’ hosted by The Entrepreneurs Academy and kindly sponsored by NEWKD (North, East & West Kerry Development group).

Margaret Hoctor facilitated the three-hour long event, which was attended by over 200 transition year students from seven schools in County Kerry, namely, CBS Tralee, Mercy Mounthawk Tralee, Castleisland Community College, Killorglin Community College, Killarney Community College, St Michaels College Listowel and St Brendans College Killarney.

The teams shared their social issues of concern before the students were tutored in the application of SCAMMPERR and SWOT analysis tools, goal-setting and personality typing, as well as activities in identifying individual strengths, skills and talents.

Our next offering sponsored by NEWKD and hosted by The Entrepreneurs Academy will take place online on November 24th and will feature a social media campaign planning bootcamp!
