Conal, 17, Monaghan

With online learning taking place all over Ireland now, Conal, 17, from Monaghan, came up with an idea to support teachers at this time.

His idea is to provide teachers who are teaching from home with tablets, so as to address the lack of technology or digital resources that may be available to them.

Teachers are having to be more creative and innovative in teaching their students due to schools being closed, with online lessons replacing the classroom – this is a new concept for many teachers and their jobs may be made more difficult if they don't have access to digital resources. Conal believes it would be helpful to support them in continuing to teach as much as possible.

By making sure teachers have access to resources, Conal thinks they will be able to effectively teach and communicate with their students during this time.
