Inspiration! Innovative hand-washing

A 9 year old boy from Kenya has come up with an innovative way for people to wash their hands, to help stop the spread of Coronavirus. He was inspired when watching how cars are made on TV.

His invention, which uses a clever system of levers, prevents people from touching dirty surfaces, by releasing water and hand sanitiser when foot pedals activate the levers. His father is helping him to save money so he can make a metal prototype of his invention.
