Kyle, 16, Dublin

Lots of people are due a haircut at the moment, and Kyle, 16, from Dublin has come up with an idea to combine getting a trim with raising money for a good cause.

His idea is to create a fundraising movement where men (and women if they would like to get involved) shave their heads to raise money for healthcare workers and supplies.

There have been lots of fundraisers during the pandemic to date and Kyle’s idea means people from all over Ireland can get involved – no previous hairdressing experience required!

Many men around the country have not had haircuts in months and Kyle believes his idea is a great opportunity to raise money for charity and provide people with a trim. We encourage anyone interested to consult with their parents if required and use equipment safely.

Kyle has kicked off the fundraiser by shaving his head and donating €10 to charity – we look forward to seeing if his fundraising idea is a cut above the rest!
